My Perspective

I’M SURE THAT IN TIME MOST OF US HAVE COME ACROSS A COCOON IN OUR LIVES…
AUTOMATICALLY SOME OF US THINK “THERE’LL BE BUTTERFLIES POPPING OUT OF THERE SOON” WE EVEN TEACH OUR CHILDREN THAT CATERPILLARS TURN INTO BUTTERFLIES….METAMORPHASIS

IN LIFE WE ALL GO THROUGH CHANGES, AND SOMETIMES WE TURN OUT TO BE JUST WHAT WE STRIVE TO BE…OTHER TIMES WE HAVE PEOPLE IN OUR LIVES THAT THINK WE SHOULD BE ONE THING OR ANOTHER, BUT ALL WE DESIRE IS TO BE BETTER PEOPLE, WE DESIRE CHANGE.
WHAT I WANT TO POINT OUT IS THAT SOME CATEPILLARS TURN INTO MOTHS …IT MAY NOT BE THE CHANGE THAT WE EXPECT, BUT TO THE CATEPILLAR HE HAS GONE FROM CRAWLING TO FLYING….
SMILE ABOUT YOUR CHANGE IF ITS FOR THE BETTER!
That’s My Perspective

i have always thought of change as a mindset… adapt, move forward, grow, accept. i love your caterpillar example. In my life the last two years have felt like being thrown from a high cliff into the raging waters of a whitewater rapids… unable to do any thing about the situation, and like in real white water rapids, unable to make any attempt to change the situation, i have been swept down river, going where i never dreamed i would, and yet finding that this is exactly where i needed to be. What little i know about white water rafting is this – if you fall out dont fight… just let the current take you downstream. Fighting usually means unwanted injury or even death. So when the job went, the economics tanked, and the job market looked grim I just let the current take me… Like all white water, it cannot continue to boil and rage… the river must settle down at some point. Thankfully this is also true.

Knowing that the Lord walks with us in everything also makes the changes of life more bearable. I could not begin to imagine all of the changes in this life of mine without the creator walking with me, holding me when things got a bit scarey, and reassuring me with his word, his love, and his mercy. Blessings to you. Are you local to Northeastern Ohio?
